Formed by the Feldberg glacier, its call is legendary and people come from all over the world to visit: Lake Titisee. Situated just 900 metres above sea level, the lake covers an area of 1.3 square kilometres. Meanwhile, to our joy, the glacier has retreated – and in the summer the lake invites you with pleasant temperatures to swim, surf, sail and pedal boat. Incidentally: The Titisee is one of the cleanest bathing lakes in Germany!
How is the water quality so good? Simply ask the trout, pike and perch!
At our hotel's own beach our guests can dive into the water, lie in the sun and enjoy perfect summer holidays in the Black Forest. You must share the bathing fun with zander, lake trout, pike, whitefish, roach and perch. But we just take that as a sign of the great water quality. Does anyone still want the sea?
