The Black Forest in the snow
ON BOARDS, SKIDS AND ON FOOT: WINTER FUN AND SKIING IN THE FELDBERG/BLACK FOREST REGION.
In winter, the Black Forest is transformed into a true winter wonderland. Stroll through the fresh snow, catch the sparkling flakes and enjoy the magic of the snow-covered landscape. A winter vacation on the Feldberg in the Black Forest is a highlight, as the Upper Black Forest is the largest ski area north of the Alps.
In addition to the perfectly groomed slopes, you can expect a dream setting for snow hikes, a toboggan run to Titisee, snow-covered cross-country ski trails and exciting action with snow tubing and snow kiting. We promise: In winter, the Black Forest shows its most magical side!

The Upper Black Forest is the largest skiing area north of the Alps. If you spend your skiing holiday on the Feldberg in the Black Forest, you can look forward to 28 lifts, 50 kilometres of pistes and the extensive network of cross-country ski trails of the Feldberg lift association. What is more, 80 additional kilometres of prepared pistes await you, inviting you to ski from dawn to dusk. Whether family or World Cup slopes, sun-kissed or floodlit, with or without a ski instructor, there is something for everyone here!

On the summit of the Feldberg it is not only skiing and hiking enthusiasts who look forward to fun in the snow, there is also plenty for tobogganing fans. Several cable cars start from the highest mountain in the Upper Black Forest. Lenzkirch-Saig is the starting point of the longest toboggan run close to Lake Titisee. It leads along a rolled forest path with floodlights to the lake shore. The toboggan bus takes you to the departure point and also to the free snow tubing run.

The Feldberg in the Black Forest is ideal for a skiing holiday - but also offers plenty more! If you prefer to have both feet on the ground or are looking for a change of pace, you will find winter hiking trails and snowshoe paths on the highest Black Forest mountain. Listening to the crunching underfoot, seeing snow crystals sparkling and smelling the clearest mountain air... That is a special experience on a winter holiday at Lake Titisee!
